Melaron is a business technology company based in Kampala, Uganda. We design, build, and support intelligent software solutions for healthcare providers, educational institutions, government bodies, NGOs, and businesses that are serious about how they operate.
We are not a general-purpose agency. We are specialists who understand both the technical requirements of modern software and the operational realities of African organisations.
Our story
Built from a clear understanding of what was missing.
Melaron was founded by someone who spent years studying business computing and data analytics. Not just learning how software works, but understanding how organisations depend on it.
The observation was consistent: Ugandan and African institutions were either managing critical operations on outdated tools, relying on systems built for entirely different contexts, or doing without entirely.
The decision to build Melaron was straightforward. There was a gap between the quality of software available to organisations in this region and the quality those organisations deserved. We exist to close that gap, one well-built system at a time.
We are based in Kampala. We build to international standards. And we are here for the long term.
